Cycle to work scheme

As most will know by now, Storm and I are the best of friends. I purchased Storm from Billy Bilsland cycles near Glasgow Green via the Cycle to Work scheme. Effectively, I'll rent Storm for a year and at the end of the second year, I'll pay a nominal fee to purchase. Included in the deal is about £100 worth of gear. A great deal and most employers and major cycle sales places participate in the scheme.

As I bought Storm via the cycle to work scheme, I thought that I might as well cycle to work occasionally. I did so this Friday as the forecast was decent. I took a winding route in and a slightly different route home. I did not choose the most direct routs but those that avoided heavy traffic and traffic lights as much as possible. for map detail, you can always check out the Garmin links below.

Garmin data suggests that I was slightly faster home than to work.
